Cancel, Return and Refund Policy
Cancellations
At Hitch-Rack Pro, we process and ship orders quickly to provide fast, free delivery. Orders placed before 3:00 PM are typically prepared and shipped the same day. Once an order is picked and prepared for shipment, we incur costs that may not be recoverable.
Cancellation Fees:
- No charge – If we can stop the shipment before it leaves our warehouse.
- $100 fee – If the order has already been picked up by the carrier (FedEx, UPS, etc.). This covers preparation, outbound shipping, and return-to-warehouse costs charged by the carrier.
- Full return shipping responsibility – If the carrier has delivered the order to you, you are responsible for return shipping costs (typically $100–$175) before we can process any refund.
To request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible at support@hitchrackpro.com with your order number.
30-Day Return Policy
At Hitch-Rack Pro, your satisfaction is our priority. You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund, subject to the conditions below.
Return Eligibility
- Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
- Must include all original components, hardware, and accessories.
- Return must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.
Items Not Eligible for Return
- Used or installed products
- Items damaged after delivery (not caused by shipping)
- Custom-ordered or modified items
- Products returned without original packaging or missing parts
How to Start a Return
- Email support@hitchrackpro.com with your order number and reason for return.
- We will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number and provide return shipping instructions.
- Securely package the item, clearly mark the RA number on the outside of the box, and ship it to the address we provide.
Important: Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product upon arrival). In those cases, we will provide a prepaid return label.
Refund Process
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval status.
- Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Restocking fees may apply in certain cases (we will notify you if applicable).
