Hitch-Rack Pro – 1-Year Limited Warranty

At Hitch-Rack Pro, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Our hitch rack products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase, subject to the terms and exclusions outlined below.

What’s Covered

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects occurring under normal, intended use and proper installation, including:

  • Structural defects in the rack frame or Rack Lift mechanism.

  • Defective welds resulting from manufacturing. (not including a broken weld on the mesh)

  • Manufacturing defects in supplied hardware and components.

  • Premature failure of components directly attributable to defective materials or workmanship.

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage, failure, or deterioration resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, cosmetic damage, surface rust, corrosion, fading, or finish deterioration.

  • Misuse, neglect, abuse, accidents, improper storage, or inadequate maintenance.

  • Exceeding the rack's stated weight capacity or the vehicle's hitch, tongue weight, or towing equipment limitations.

  • Improper installation, assembly, loading, or failure to follow product instructions and safety guidelines.

  • Failure to properly secure the rack, eTrike, eBike, or other transported equipment.

  • Modifications, alterations, or repairs that cause or contribute to the defect or failure.

  • Use with incompatible vehicles, hitch receivers, adapters, extensions, or accessories.

  • Damage caused by road hazards, collisions, environmental exposure, or other external factors.

Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: Any repairs, modifications, alterations, welding, drilling, structural changes, or replacement of original components performed without prior written authorization from Hitch-Rack Pro will void this limited warranty in its entirety, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This warranty applies only to defects in the Hitch-Rack Pro product itself and does not provide coverage for transported equipment, vehicles, or other personal property.

Warranty Claims

If you believe your Hitch-Rack Pro product has a manufacturing defect covered under this warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Email support@hitchrackpro.com with your original proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and clear photos or video showing the suspected defect.

  2. Hitch-Rack Pro will review the claim and may request additional information or inspection of the affected component.

  3. If the claim is approved, Hitch-Rack Pro will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective component or product, or provide an appropriate refund where repair or replacement is not practical.

Do not return any product or component without first contacting Hitch-Rack Pro and receiving return instructions.

Hitch-Rack Pro will provide instructions regarding any required return shipment and applicable shipping arrangements when a claim is approved.

Any replacement or repaired product remains covered only for the remainder of the original one-year warranty period, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HITCH-RACK PRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM A BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, OR DAMAGE TO VEHICLES, TRANSPORTED EQUIPMENT, OR OTHER PROPERTY.

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for personal injury where prohibited by applicable law.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

Transferability

This limited warranty applies exclusively to the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of original purchase is required when submitting a warranty claim.

State Law Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the one-year period of this limited warranty.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.
